The IPEX 9801422 is a Schedule 80 CPVC reducing tee designed for pressure-rated piping systems in plumbing, industrial, irrigation, pool and spa, and potable water applications. Manufactured from CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) meeting ASTM D1784 Grade 1 Type 4 material specification, this fitting features a slip x slip x slip end connection with a 4 inch by 4 inch by 3 inch nominal configuration. The reducing outlet allows a branch takeoff to a smaller 3 inch line without the need for a separate bushing or reducer. It is injection molded and rated to Schedule 80 pressure class. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both residential and commercial systems.
