The IPEX 200p4045dsch40elb is a 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit 45-degree elbow with plain ends, designed for use in electrical conduit systems. Manufactured from rigid PVC, this standard-radius elbow has a 9.5-inch bend radius and accepts direct solvent-cement connections at both ends. It is used wherever a 45-degree directional change is needed in a PVC conduit run. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of underground, in-slab, or above-grade conduit systems that require a sweeping change of direction without sharp bends.
This elbow is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations. It fits 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit and is commonly installed in raceway systems routed through concrete slabs, underground trenches, or exposed conduit runs in utility spaces. The plain-end design accepts standard conduit fittings and allows field-cut conduit to be joined with solvent cement. It is frequently used in service entrance runs, panel feeders, and branch circuit raceways where a 45-degree offset is required.
Designed as a standard-radius replacement fitting for 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC electrical conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for conduit raceway systems. De-energize all circuits in the conduit run before pulling wire through any newly installed fitting. Use PVC conduit solvent cement rated for Schedule 40 fittings and allow adequate cure time before pulling conductors. Do not use heat or mechanical bending tools on this pre-formed elbow.
