The IPEX 114pca is a Schedule 40 PVC conduit end cap designed to seal the open end of 1-1/4 inch electrical conduit runs. The dome-top profile sheds water and debris, making it well suited for exposed conduit terminations in both indoor and outdoor installations. Fabricated from PVC, the cap resists corrosion, moisture, and common chemical exposure without the rust risk associated with metal fittings. Electricians and conduit installers use this fitting to protect wire pulls from contamination and to provide a clean, code-acceptable termination point on conduit stubs and spare conduit runs.
This end cap is used on 1-1/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. Typical applications include sealing spare conduit stubs in concrete or underground duct banks, capping exposed conduit ends at equipment knockouts, and protecting conduit during construction phases before conductors are pulled. The dome-top design is particularly common on above-grade conduit stubs and riser terminations where standing water or debris could enter an open conduit end.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for 1-1/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC electrical conduit systems.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit sealing and protection. Confirm the conduit end is clean and free of burrs before seating the cap. Solvent cement may be applied for a permanent, watertight bond on outdoor or underground applications; follow the PVC cement manufacturer's cure time before backfilling or exposing to moisture. No energized conductors should be present in the conduit during fitting installation.
