The IO HVAC CONTROLS TD-2620 is a rectangular zone damper designed for use in zoned forced-air HVAC systems. It ships with a 60-second Belimo 3-wire actuator, giving installers a ready-to-mount assembly without sourcing a separate actuator. The damper blade controls airflow to an individual zone, opening and closing on a signal from a zone control board or thermostat. At 15 pounds, this is a full-sized commercial-style unit built for the 26-inch by 20-inch duct opening it is rated to serve. Licensed HVAC technicians handling zoning retrofits or new zoned-system installations are the primary installers.
This damper is sized and configured for compatibility with Trane and American Standard zoning systems that use a rectangular duct arrangement. The included Belimo 3-wire actuator operates on a standard 24-volt control signal and completes a full open or closed cycle in 60 seconds, making it suitable for residential and light-commercial zoning applications where controlled airflow distribution across multiple zones is required. It fits into the ductwork inline and is wired back to the zone control panel.
Designed as a replacement or new-installation zone damper for Trane and American Standard rectangular zoning systems requiring a 26-inch by 20-inch damper with a 3-wire Belimo-style actuator.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with zoned forced-air systems and low-voltage control wiring. Shut down the air handler and de-energize the zone control panel before mounting the damper or connecting the actuator wiring. The actuator's 3-wire harness connects to the zone board per the board manufacturer's wiring diagram - verify polarity and signal type before powering the system. Refer to local mechanical codes and the zone controller manufacturer's documentation for proper actuator commissioning and airflow balancing after installation.
