The IO HVAC CONTROLS TD-2618 is a rectangular zone damper designed for ducted HVAC zoning systems where independent temperature control is required across multiple zones. This unit ships with a 60-second Belimo 3-wire actuator, enabling precise open/close positioning through a low-voltage control signal. Measuring 26 inches wide by 18 inches tall in the duct opening, and packaged at 15 pounds, the TD-2618 is sized for medium-to-large residential or light commercial duct runs. Licensed HVAC technicians and zoning contractors are the primary installers of this type of damper assembly.
The TD-2618 is intended for rectangular ductwork applications in forced-air zoning systems. It is designed as a direct replacement or new-installation zone damper for Trane and American Standard HVAC systems that require rectangular duct dampers at those dimensions. Typical install scenarios include multi-zone residential systems and light commercial builds where individual room or zone setpoint control is needed. The included Belimo actuator eliminates the need to source a separate actuator and ensures compatibility with standard zoning control boards that use 3-wire, spring-return or non-spring-return wiring schemes.
Designed for use with Trane and American Standard forced-air HVAC systems requiring a 26-inch by 18-inch rectangular zone damper. Intended for use with zoning control systems that support a 3-wire Belimo actuator input.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with ducted zoning systems. Shut down the air handler and de-energize all low-voltage control wiring before beginning installation. Verify duct dimensions and airflow direction before securing the damper in the duct section. Actuator wiring should comply with the zoning control board manufacturer's wiring diagram and applicable NEC low-voltage wiring requirements.
