The IO HVAC CONTROLS RM-2006 is a rectangular zone damper designed for duct zoning applications in forced-air HVAC systems. It ships with a 35-second Belimo actuator wired in a 3-wire configuration, giving technicians a reliable, field-ready assembly without sourcing the actuator separately. The damper body measures 20 inches by 6 inches to fit standard rectangular ductwork openings of that size. At 6.73 pounds, the assembly is manageable for a single-technician install in tight ceiling or wall cavities.
Rectangular zone dampers like the RM-2006 are used in residential and light-commercial zoning systems where conditioned air must be directed or restricted to individual zones. The 35-second Belimo actuator suits most zone control board timing requirements and is compatible with typical 24-volt zoning systems. This assembly is appropriate for new zoning installations and direct replacements in existing multi-zone duct systems served by a zone control panel.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation zone damper for residential and light-commercial forced-air zoning systems that accept a 20-inch by 6-inch rectangular damper with a 3-wire 24-volt Belimo actuator.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with duct zoning systems and low-voltage control wiring. De-energize the zone control panel and disconnect power to the air handler before cutting into ductwork or connecting actuator wiring. Secure the damper body to the duct with sheet-metal screws and seal joints per local mechanical code requirements. Verify actuator travel direction and zone board wiring terminals before restoring power.
