The IO HVAC CONTROLS iO-SPC is a static pressure controller designed to regulate and maintain duct static pressure in HVAC systems that use electronically balanced (EB) dampers. It monitors system pressure conditions and sends control signals to damper actuators to keep static pressure within the desired setpoint range. The iO-SPC is compact at 4.5 inches wide, 4.25 inches tall, and 5.75 inches deep, and weighs 0.8 pounds. It is suited for licensed HVAC technicians performing zone control work in ducted forced-air systems.
The iO-SPC is applied in ducted HVAC systems where EB dampers are used to manage airflow across multiple zones. As zone dampers open and close in response to zone demand, duct static pressure fluctuates. The iO-SPC responds to those fluctuations by modulating or signaling damper positions to prevent over-pressurization of the duct system. It is appropriate for residential and light commercial installations where zone control and duct integrity are priorities.
Designed for use with electronically balanced (EB) damper systems in ducted forced-air HVAC applications. No additional specific model compatibility data was provided by the manufacturer for this listing.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with zoning controls and low-voltage wiring practices. Disconnect and lock out power to the air handler or furnace before wiring the controller. Follow the manufacturer wiring diagram and all applicable local mechanical and electrical codes. Do not apply power to the unit until all control and damper wiring connections are complete and verified.
