The IO HVAC CONTROLS iO-FAV-07-PLUS is a fresh air ventilation control panel designed to manage outdoor air delivery in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The panel controls a 7-inch round, 2-position damper, opening and closing it based on ventilation demand. An onboard 120/24-volt, 20 VA transformer powers low-voltage control circuits without requiring a separate transformer. The included outdoor temperature (ODT) humidistat allows the system to factor in outdoor humidity conditions, preventing unwanted moisture from being introduced during ventilation cycles. Licensed HVAC technicians install this panel as part of a code-compliant mechanical ventilation strategy.
The iO-FAV-07-PLUS is suited for residential forced-air systems where ASHRAE 62.2 or local code requires controlled fresh air introduction. It is typically installed in new construction or retrofit applications where a dedicated ventilation damper is added to the duct system. The panel mounts in a central location accessible to the air handler or furnace, with low-voltage wiring running to the damper actuator and thermostat or ventilation controller. No external transformer is needed when using the built-in 120/24-volt, 20 VA unit.
Designed as an OEM-style fresh air ventilation control panel for use with 7-inch round 2-position damper assemblies in residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with low-voltage control wiring and mechanical ventilation requirements. Shut off power to the air handler or furnace at the disconnect before making any electrical connections. Mount the panel in a protected indoor location and run low-voltage wiring per the manufacturer's wiring diagram and local codes. Verify damper operation and humidistat setpoints after installation before returning the system to service.
