The INTERNAL TOOL 68-1575 is a double-end, solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius edges on a wide range of workpiece materials. With a 0.0394-inch corner radius and a 1/8-inch mill diameter, this tool is built for precision edge-breaking and profile work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials alike. The micrograin carbide substrate supports rigidity and edge retention at smaller diameters. Two straight flutes with a right-hand cutting direction provide clean chip evacuation in light-to-moderate material removal applications. Machinists and toolroom operators use this tool on CNC mills, manual mills, and precision grinding setups where controlled radius geometry is required.
This corner rounding end mill is suited for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, super alloys, and titanium. Its double-end design offers two usable cutting edges per tool, extending service life before replacement is needed. The uncoated, bright finish makes it appropriate for dry cutting or use with standard flood coolant where the workpiece material does not demand a specialized coating. Typical applications include edge finishing on machined components, die and mold work, and precision part deburring where a defined radius is specified on the print.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, super alloys, and titanium workpieces. Compatible with standard 1/8-inch collets and end mill holders. Fits CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped for small-diameter tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before loading or removing the tool. Seat the cylindrical shank fully in a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware to the machine manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and verify runout with a dial indicator when tight tolerances are required.
