The INTERNAL TOOL 68-1345-C is a double-end, solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed for precision edge profiling on metallic workpieces. It produces a 1/4-inch radius with a 5/8-inch mill diameter and features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating that extends tool life under high-heat cutting conditions. With 3 straight flutes and a right-hand cutting direction, it delivers clean, consistent radii on ferrous and non-ferrous materials alike. Overall length is 3.5 inches and the cylindrical shank diameter is 5/8 inch. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals reach for this end mill when edge finishing demands tight tolerances and surface quality.
This corner rounding end mill is suited for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, super alloys, and titanium. It fits into standard CNC machining centers and manual milling setups that accept a 5/8-inch shank. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending service intervals between tool changes. Typical applications include rounding sharp edges on machined components, producing consistent radii on brackets, housings, and structural parts across both production and job-shop environments.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, super alloys, and titanium workpieces. Accepts standard 5/8-inch cylindrical shank tool holders on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully powered down and the machine in a locked-out state per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify that the tool holder is clean and free of chips before seating the 5/8-inch shank. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material being cut. Inspect both cutting ends for chipping or wear before each use.
