The INTERNAL TOOL 68-1330-C is a double-end, solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on a wide range of workpiece materials. It carries a 13/64 inch (0.2031 inch) corner radius and a 5/8 inch (0.6250 inch) mill diameter, with a 3-flute, straight-flute geometry running in a right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. An AlTiN coating delivers elevated heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and exotic materials. This tool is intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals working on CNC mills and manual knee mills.
This end mill is suited for edge-rounding and radius-profiling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and super alloys including titanium. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends per tool, extending service life between replacements. The micrograin carbide substrate supports demanding applications where tool rigidity and edge retention are critical. Typical use cases include finishing passes on machined components that require a specific corner break or blended radius for fit, function, or fatigue resistance.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and super alloys and titanium (ISO material codes P, M, K, N, S). The 5/8 inch cylindrical shank fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and milling machine spindles accepting that shank diameter.
Installation is performed by machinists and toolroom technicians. Secure the 5/8 inch cylindrical shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges and coating before mounting; do not use chipped or worn edges. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling, in accordance with applicable machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures.
