The INTERNAL TOOL 68-1302-C is a double-end, solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius edges on a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a 0.0984-inch corner radius, a 3/8-inch mill diameter, and three straight flutes with a right-hand cutting direction. The AlTiN coating provides heat and wear resistance suited to high-temperature cutting environments. With a 2.5-inch overall length and a 0.3750-inch cylindrical shank, this tool is sized for standard toolholders used in CNC milling and manual mill operations. It is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in production and job-shop settings.
This corner rounding end mill is suited for edge-breaking and radius-blending operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, super alloys, and titanium. The double-end configuration extends tool life by providing two usable cutting ends. The micrograin carbide substrate supports tight tolerances in both light-finishing and moderate-stock-removal passes. Typical applications include deburring sharp corners, producing uniform fillet radii on machined components, and finishing edges prior to assembly or inspection.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and super alloys and titanium. Fits standard 3/8-inch cylindrical toolholders. Suitable for CNC and conventional vertical milling applications requiring a 0.0984-inch corner radius profile.
Install and remove end mills only after the spindle has come to a complete stop and the machine is powered down or placed in lockout/tagout. Secure the cylindrical shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder to the torque specifications of the toolholder manufacturer. Inspect both cutting ends for chipping or wear before use. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; use external flood or mist coolant as appropriate for the workpiece material.
