The INTERNAL TOOL 64-4845-C is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for chamfering and countersinking operations across a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a 90-degree included angle and a 0.1250-inch cutter head diameter with a matching 0.1250-inch shank diameter. The AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. With four flutes and right-hand cutting direction, this end mill delivers clean, consistent chamfer geometry on both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is sized for precision work in tight setups and is a standard single-end configuration.
This chamfer mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. It handles a broad material application range including aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, titanium, monel, magnesium, plastic, high-nickel steel, and nickel base alloys. The compact 0.1250-inch diameter makes it well suited for detail chamfering on small bores, edges, and countersink profiles where larger tools cannot reach.
Designed for chamfering and countersinking applications on aluminum, aluminum alloy, brass, bronze, copper, cast iron, iron, magnesium, molybdenum, monel, plastic, steel, stainless steel, titanium, high-nickel steel, copper alloy, magnesium alloy, nickel base alloy, low-carbon steel, and medium-carbon steel workpieces.
Installation and use of this chamfer mill should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the tool holder collet is properly sized for a 0.1250-inch shank and that the tool is secured to the correct torque per the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing cutting tools. Verify spindle speed and feed rate settings are appropriate for the workpiece material before initiating a cut.
