The INTERNAL TOOL 64-1235-C is a solid carbide double-end chamfer mill designed for chamfering and countersinking operations across a wide range of workpiece materials. Built to Series 64 standards, it features an 82-degree included angle and an AlTiN coating that extends tool life in demanding cutting environments. The cutter head diameter measures 0.375 inches, matching the 0.375-inch shank diameter for consistent rigidity. With a 2-flute, right-hand cutting geometry and a shank length of 2.1 inches, this tool delivers controlled material removal in both manual and CNC machining setups. Licensed machinists and toolroom professionals are the primary users.
This chamfer mill is suited for chamfering edges and countersinking holes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as plastics. Compatible material applications include aluminum, aluminum alloy, brass, bronze, copper, cast iron, iron, magnesium, molybdenum, Monel, plastic, steel, stainless steel, titanium, high-nickel steel, copper alloy, magnesium alloy, nickel base alloy, low-carbon steel, and medium-carbon steel. The double-end configuration allows both ends of the tool to be used, increasing value per unit in production environments.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills capable of accepting a 0.375-inch straight shank. Compatible material applications include aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, titanium, plastics, and related alloys as listed in the tool specifications.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard toolroom procedures. Secure the shank in a collet or end mill holder rated for the shank diameter before use. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate settings against the manufacturer or shop-standard cutting data for the target material before engaging the workpiece. Inspect both cutting ends for chipping or wear before mounting.
