The INTELLINET 742085 is a Cat6 U/UTP slim-boot patch cord designed for high-performance network installations in dense cabling environments. Built with 30 AWG bare copper conductors, it supports data transmission speeds up to 10 Gbps and a frequency rating of 250 MHz. The ultra-slim cable diameter promotes clean routing and improved airflow in loaded patch panels and equipment racks. Terminations consist of RJ45 male connectors with gold-plated contacts for corrosion-resistant, low-loss connections. A flexible black PVC jacket and snag-free boots make the cable easy to route and remove in tight spaces. Licensed network technicians and structured cabling installers are the primary end users for this type of assembly.
This patch cord is suited for both residential and commercial network infrastructure. It performs well in switch-to-patch-panel runs, server rack interconnects, and structured wiring closets where cable management and airflow are priorities. The slim profile reduces bundle diameter in high-density environments, making it a practical choice for data centers, telecom rooms, and wall-mounted enclosures. Backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet categories and Power over Ethernet standards adds flexibility across mixed-generation network equipment.
Backward compatible with prior Ethernet categories and PoE standards. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation patch cord for Cat6 and lower-category network infrastructure.
Installation is performed by structured cabling technicians or licensed network professionals. No crimping or field termination is required — this is a factory-terminated assembly. Ensure patch panel ports and switch ports are free of debris before seating the RJ45 connectors. Follow TIA-568 bend-radius guidelines when routing to avoid signal degradation.
