This switch suits desktop deployments where a dedicated power outlet is unavailable or inconvenient. Disconnect the upstream PoE feed before making or changing cable connections at the PD input port. Do not exceed the aggregate PoE budget of the upstream source when connecting multiple powered devices to the four PSE ports.
