The INTELLINET 342032 is a Category 6 patch cord designed for structured cabling installations and network device connections. It terminates in RJ-45 male connectors on both ends and measures 0.5 meters (1.5 feet) in length. CAT 6 cabling supports Gigabit Ethernet and is backward compatible with CAT 5e infrastructure. The black jacket provides straightforward color-coded cable management in rack and patch-panel environments. Network technicians and IT infrastructure installers use this cord for short equipment runs between patch panels, switches, routers, and end devices.
This patch cord is suited for use in residential and commercial structured wiring applications. Typical installations include data center rack patching, server room cable management, desktop workstation connections, and wall-plate to device runs. The 1.5-foot length is practical for short-distance connections between adjacent equipment in a rack or cabinet. The RJ-45 terminations fit standard 8P8C keystone jacks and switch ports.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard patch cord for use with CAT 6 and CAT 5e network infrastructure including switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards with standard RJ-45 ports.
Installation is performed by network technicians or low-voltage cabling contractors. Power down or disable the port before connecting in sensitive or managed switch environments where hot-plug activity is logged. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius of the cable to preserve signal integrity. Installations in commercial buildings may be subject to local low-voltage cabling codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards.
