The INGERSOLL RAND TOOL HOIST DXS2SH34L is a 3/4 inch drive SAE deep impact socket built for use with Ingersoll Rand DXS direct-drive impact wrenches. It is machined from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel and finished with a manganese phosphate coating to resist corrosion. The DXS direct-drive interface fits tighter than traditional square drives and provides more load-bearing surface, delivering up to 15% better torque transfer and up to 20% longer wear life compared to conventional square-drive sockets. A ball-nose retention pin allows quick, tool-free installation and removal. Licensed trade professionals and experienced mechanics will find this socket suited for high-torque fastener work in automotive, fleet, and industrial applications.
The DXS2SH34L is designed for use with DXS2 series 3/4 inch drive impact tools from Ingersoll Rand. The deep-length profile provides access to recessed fasteners and extended studs. The Drive Xchange System interface reduces overall tool length by up to 3/4 inch compared to a traditional square-drive socket and wrench combination, which aids access in confined work areas. Relieved 6-point hex corners help reduce fastener rounding under high-torque impact loads. Laser-etched size markings remain legible after repeated use in shop environments.
Designed for use with Ingersoll Rand DXS2 series 3/4 inch drive impact wrenches. A square retention pin conversion kit is available separately for secure connection with standard square-drive applications.
Install and remove the socket tool-free using the integrated ball-nose retention pin. Confirm the drive interface is fully seated on the impact wrench anvil before applying torque. Inspect the socket and anvil interface for wear before each use, as damaged contact surfaces reduce torque transfer efficiency. This socket is rated for impact use only and should not be used with manual drive tools such as torque wrenches or ratchets.
