The INGERSOLL CUTTING TOOLS 5874485 is a solid carbide milling insert in the AOMT series, designed for high-performance indexable milling applications. It carries a dual PVD coating - TiAlN and TiN - applied over a coarse-grain carbide substrate in the IN2530 manufacturer grade. The insert features a parallelogram shape with an 85-degree included angle, a sharp cutting edge style, a positive rake geometry, and a 0.0150-inch corner radius. Two cutting edges are available per insert. This style is installed and replaced by machinists and CNC tooling technicians working with indexable milling cutters.

This insert is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium - material application codes P, M, and S. It is a single-sided, right-hand insert held in place by a screw-lock method. The maximum depth of cut reaches 0.633 inches, making it appropriate for medium to aggressive material removal passes in both production and job-shop environments on CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines.
