The diamond-shaped insert body features an 80-degree included angle, a 0.031 inch corner radius, and four usable cutting edges, giving machinists extended tool life per insert. The RT chip breaker geometry controls chip flow during moderate to heavy roughing passes. Licensed machinists and CNC lathe operators are the primary users of this insert.

Installation Notes

Turning insert replacement should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine in a full stop and all motion axes locked out per shop lockout/tagout procedures.
