Manufactured from carbide with a TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) PVD coating, this insert delivers wear resistance and thermal stability during drilling operations. It features an SHLT14FS insert style with a positive rake geometry, four cutting edges, and an inscribed circle of 0.56 inches. The IN1030 manufacturer grade targets steel, stainless steel, and superalloys including titanium. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments are the primary installers of this insert.

This insert is suited for drilling steel, stainless steel, and superalloy and titanium workpiece materials, covering material grades P, M, and K. It is compatible with 15C, 15S, and DHU compatible drill styles and carries the ANSI and ISO code SHLT140516N-FS. Installation Notes
