The 135-degree split point promotes fast penetration and self-centering without a pilot hole. At 4-7/8 inches overall length with a 3-1/4 inch flute, it suits most standard drill press and handheld power tool setups. The high-speed steel construction with an oxide finish provides adequate wear resistance for general-purpose metal drilling applications.
