Product Description

The Ideal Industries 85-377 is a Cat6 feed-thru RJ-45 modular plug designed for terminating Category 6, 100 ohm balanced twisted-pair cables rated to 250 MHz. The single-piece 8P8C connector permits visible conductor insertion and a flush cut of excess conductor when used with the IDEAL FT-45 tool, supporting 23-24 AWG solid or stranded conductors and accepting outer jacket diameters up to 0.280 inches.

• Feed-thru single-piece design allows conductor order verification and flush cut termination with FT-45 (30-495) tool
• Eight-position, eight-contact RJ-45 for Cat6 (250 MHz) with 50 micro-inch gold plated contact mating area
• Three-prong contact accommodates 23-24 AWG conductors up to 0.041 in. diameter; permanent connection once crimped
