The IDEAL ideal-30-030 is an anti-oxidant joint compound supplied in an 8 oz bottle. Anti-oxidant compounds are applied to aluminum and copper electrical connections to prevent oxidation, reduce resistance, and maintain conductivity over time. This formulation is designed to protect connections at terminals, lugs, and splices where aluminum conductors are used. Electricians apply it during installation and service work on residential, commercial, and industrial wiring systems.
