The IDEAL 92-693 is a right-angle BNC compression coaxial connector designed for use with RG59 coaxial cable. The brass body construction provides durable, corrosion-resistant termination suited for low-voltage video and signal wiring applications. The compression termination method creates a secure, weatherproof connection without the need for crimping tools, making it a preferred choice for security camera installers, AV technicians, and low-voltage wiring contractors. Sold in a package of 5 connectors per unit, the 92-693 is well-suited for both single-point repairs and multi-run installations where consistent, reliable BNC terminations are required.
This connector is used in residential and commercial low-voltage installations, particularly in analog CCTV and security camera systems that use RG59 coaxial cable. It is commonly installed at camera heads, distribution points, DVR inputs, and monitor connections where a right-angle exit is necessary to reduce cable stress or meet tight clearance requirements. The 90-degree body orientation is especially useful in recessed or wall-mounted installations where a straight connector would create excessive cable bend radius.
Designed for use with RG59 coaxial cable. Suitable as a compression-style BNC termination connector in analog video, CCTV, and low-voltage signal distribution systems using RG59 cabling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or electrician familiar with coaxial cable termination practices. Disconnect or power down any active signal equipment before terminating connectors. A proper coaxial compression tool rated for RG59 and BNC compression connectors is required to achieve a correct, pull-resistant termination. Do not over-strip the cable dielectric or center conductor, as this can degrade signal integrity.
