The IDEAL 92-691 is a right angle RTQ compression coaxial connector designed for terminating RG6 coaxial cable in residential and light commercial signal distribution systems. The compression termination method creates a weatherproof, gas-tight mechanical connection that resists pull-out and signal leakage better than twist-on style connectors. The right angle body orientation allows the cable to exit perpendicular to the port, reducing bend radius stress in tight wall box or device enclosures. This connector is installed by cable technicians, low-voltage electricians, and satellite or antenna service professionals. Each package contains 5 connectors.
This connector is suited for use in structured wiring installations, cable television terminations, satellite dish feed lines, and antenna distribution systems where an angled cable exit is required. The right angle configuration is commonly used behind wall plates, at equipment panels, and at television or set-top box ports where straight connectors would create excessive cable strain. The RTQ compression style requires a compatible compression tool for proper installation.
Compatible with RG6 coaxial cable. Designed as an OEM-style compression coaxial connector for use in cable television, satellite, and antenna signal distribution applications.
Installation requires a compatible RTQ compression tool — do not substitute crimp or hand-pressure tools, as improper seating will compromise signal integrity and connector retention. Strip and prepare the coaxial cable end per the connector manufacturer specifications before insertion. Low-voltage installers should follow applicable local codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards where required. Verify the cable jacket, braid, and dielectric are properly prepared before seating the connector body.
