The INTERNATIONAL COMFORT PRODUCTS zp83kce-tf5-950 is a scroll-type refrigerant compressor designed for commercial and residential central air conditioning systems. Rated at 83,000 BTU/h, it operates on 200/230 volts at 60 Hz in a three-phase electrical configuration and is designed for use with R410A refrigerant. Scroll compressors of this class are sealed system components installed by certified HVAC technicians during system installation, major system repair, or compressor replacement. The sealed construction means no field-serviceable internal parts are accessible without specialized equipment.
This compressor is suited for larger-capacity central air conditioning systems requiring a three-phase power supply. Three-phase scroll compressors in this BTU range are typically found in light commercial applications such as rooftop units, split systems, and packaged HVAC equipment. The 200/230-volt dual-voltage rating allows compatibility with varying commercial electrical service configurations within that voltage range. Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians with EPA Section 608 certification for handling R410A refrigerant.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement scroll compressor for larger-capacity commercial and residential central air conditioning systems requiring a three-phase, 200/230-volt R410A compressor rated at 83,000 BTU/h.
Installation must be performed by an EPA Section 608-certified HVAC technician. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the unit before beginning work. The refrigerant circuit must be properly evacuated and dehydrated before charging with R410A; follow equipment manufacturer procedures and all applicable mechanical and refrigerant handling codes. Do not mix refrigerant types or use refrigerant recovery equipment not rated for R410A.
