The ICC ICFOJ2M307 is a duplex multimode fiber optic jumper cable with LC connectors on one end and SC connectors on the other, designed for interconnecting active equipment and patch panels in structured cabling systems. Built for 62.5/125 micrometer multimode fiber, this jumper supports standard OM1 multimode transmission applications. At 7 meters in length, it provides enough slack for typical rack-to-rack or equipment-to-panel runs. Network technicians and low-voltage installers use this cable in telecommunications rooms, data centers, and commercial AV or security infrastructure where fiber connectivity is required between mixed-connector equipment.
This jumper is suited for horizontal and backbone fiber runs in commercial and light industrial environments. It connects devices with LC interfaces to equipment or patch panels terminating in SC ports, eliminating the need for adapters in mixed-connector installations. Typical applications include connecting fiber switches, media converters, and transceivers to SC-terminated patch panels. The duplex configuration supports full-duplex transmission for standard Ethernet and Fibre Channel links running over multimode fiber infrastructure.
Designed as an OEM-style interconnect for multimode fiber installations utilizing LC and SC duplex port equipment on 62.5/125 micrometer OM1 fiber infrastructure.
This fiber jumper is typically installed by low-voltage technicians or network cabling professionals following TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Before connecting or disconnecting fiber jumpers, power down or disable associated optical transceivers where required by site procedures to avoid exposure to active laser or LED light sources. Inspect and clean connector ferrules with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating to avoid contamination-related signal loss. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable jacket during routing and dressing.
