The IBC sfc199-1 is a dual-fuel condensing combination boiler rated at 95% AFUE with a full ASME-rated heat exchanger. It delivers simultaneous space heating and domestic hot water production through a patented two-in-one heat exchanger cast in aluminum with two independent copper waterways embedded in the block. Flue gases are condensed during both space heating and domestic hot water cycles, maximizing heat extraction at every stage. The unit accepts natural gas or propane and ships with a high-efficiency variable-speed ECM pump installed. Licensed HVAC and hydronic heating technicians install and commission this equipment.
The sfc199-1 is designed for residential and light commercial hydronic heating applications where a single appliance must cover both space heating and potable domestic hot water loads. The built-in DHW recirculation pump relay eliminates the need for external pump relays or timers. A factory-installed domestic water strainer reduces field labor at startup. The unit supports wireless cascade connections of up to 8 units, making it suitable for larger installations where multiple boilers are staged together. Outdoor reset technology automatically lowers supply water temperature to track load, improving seasonal efficiency.
Designed as an OEM-style condensing combi boiler for hydronic systems requiring combined space heating and domestic hot water service in residential or light commercial settings. Accepts natural gas or propane fuel supply.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC or hydronic heating contractor in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Shut off gas supply and electrical power before servicing or making connections. Follow applicable codes — including IFGC for gas piping and NEC for electrical connections — when roughing in the unit. Do not exceed the rated maximum vent run of 65 feet on 2-inch venting without consulting manufacturer guidelines.
