The HUNT ELECTRONICS hnc328-td is an 8-megapixel fixed mini dome camera designed for exterior surveillance installations. It delivers up to 3840 x 2160 resolution using a 1/2.5-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports H.265+ compression to reduce bandwidth and storage demand. True WDR handles high-contrast scenes where both bright and shadowed areas must remain usable. The camera includes a built-in IR illuminator rated to 90 feet, allowing 0 lux operation after dark. With an IP67 weatherproof rating and IK10 vandal-resistance rating, it is built for exposed outdoor mounting. PoE (802.3af) simplifies installation by delivering power and data over a single Ethernet run. Licensed security integrators and commercial low-voltage technicians are the primary installers.

The hnc328-td suits perimeter, entry-point, and parking-area coverage on commercial and light-industrial properties. The 4mm lens at F1.2 provides a 102-degree angle of view; optional 2.8mm and 6mm lenses allow the installer to match the field of view to the application. Pan adjustment spans -90 to 90 degrees, tilt runs 0 to 75 degrees, and rotation covers 0 to 355 degrees, giving wide positioning flexibility at installation. Dual-stream output supports simultaneous high-resolution recording and lower-bandwidth live viewing. On-board Micro SD storage accepts cards up to 128GB for local backup, and the camera also supports NAS via NFS and SMB/CIFS, as well as ANR for network interruption recovery.

Installation Notes
