The HUBBELL-RACO 3513RAC is an insulated, straight conduit connector designed for use with liquid-tight flexible conduit at a 3/4 inch trade size. It features a threaded connection type, providing a secure, moisture-resistant termination point where flexible conduit meets an electrical enclosure, junction box, or panel knockout. The insulated throat protects wire insulation from abrasion at the entry point. This connector is a standard component in commercial and industrial electrical installations and is typically installed by licensed electricians working with flexible wiring methods in wet, damp, or oil-exposure environments.
This connector is suited for use in environments where liquid-tight flexible metal conduit or liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit terminates at enclosures, motor connections, HVAC equipment, pumps, or other machinery subject to moisture, vibration, or movement. The straight connector profile fits standard knockout openings and is commonly used in both new construction and retrofit work where code-compliant liquid-tight terminations are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for use with 3/4 inch trade size liquid-tight flexible conduit systems in standard electrical enclosure knockout applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for liquid-tight flexible conduit terminations. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before beginning work at any enclosure or panel. Hand-tighten the connector into the knockout, then snug with appropriate pliers or a conduit fitting wrench - do not overtighten, as this can crack the insulated throat or deform the fitting body. Verify the conduit is fully seated and the locknut is secured on the interior of the enclosure to maintain a proper mechanical connection.
