The HONEYWELL SILENT KNIGHT SD500-MIM is an addressable mini contact module designed for use in fire alarm control systems. It monitors the status of dry-contact devices and supervises their connection on an addressable signaling line circuit (SLC). The module reports device status back to the fire alarm control panel, enabling the system to identify the location and condition of connected field devices. Licensed fire alarm technicians install this module as part of a larger addressable fire detection and notification network.

The SD500-MIM is used in commercial and institutional fire alarm installations where space constraints require a compact monitoring module. It connects to the SLC loop of compatible Silent Knight addressable fire alarm control panels.
