The Honeywell S688A1007/U sail switch is an airflow-activated SPDT micro snap switch assembly that senses low air velocities for HVAC and fan control applications. It makes at 250 fpm and breaks at 75 fpm and uses a polyester film sail on a 10 in. insertion. A removable spring counterbalance permits vertical or horizontal mounting and top and bottom conduit knockouts simplify wiring for multi-speed fans and inaccessible air handlers.
