The HILLMAN FASTENERS 9414 is a Number 6 plastic self-drilling hollow wall anchor sold in a 4-pack with screws included. This Scru N Grip anchor is designed to fasten objects to hollow walls such as drywall without requiring a pre-drilled pilot hole. The anchor threads itself directly into the wall surface, then expands behind the wallboard as the screw is driven in to create a secure hold. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, and general contractors use these anchors when mounting lightweight brackets, straps, or fixtures to interior hollow walls.

This anchor is suited for light-duty residential and light commercial interior wall applications. Installation Notes

Installation requires only a screwdriver or drill driver and is performed without pre-drilling. Do not overdrive — excessive torque can strip the anchor or damage the wallboard.
