The HILLMAN FASTENERS 375290 is a hex washer head tapper concrete screw anchor supplied in a 100-piece pack with a drill bit included. Sized at 3/16 inches in diameter and 3-1/4 inches in length, these anchors feature a Blue Perma-Seal coating for corrosion resistance and are designed for direct fastening into concrete, block, and masonry substrates. With a 1-3/4 inch embedment depth, the 375290 delivers an ultimate tension load of 1,520 lb in 4,000 psi concrete and an ultimate shear load of 1,340 lb in 4,000 psi concrete. Licensed contractors, commercial installers, and experienced tradespeople working in structural or mechanical attachment applications will find this a dependable anchor solution.
These concrete screw anchors are suited for residential and commercial applications where a secure, removable fastener connection to concrete or masonry is required. Typical uses include anchoring electrical conduit straps, mechanical equipment bases, framing plates, and fixture mounts to poured concrete or concrete block. The included drill bit streamlines installation and ensures the correct pilot hole diameter is used. The Blue Perma-Seal coating makes them appropriate for interior and moderately demanding environments where moisture exposure is a concern.
Designed as a direct-install tapper screw anchor for poured concrete, concrete block, and masonry substrates requiring a 3/16 inch diameter anchor at 3-1/4 inch length.
Installation is typically performed by licensed contractors or experienced tradespeople using a rotary hammer drill and the included bit to bore the pilot hole to the specified diameter before driving the anchor. Always clear drill dust from the pilot hole before setting the anchor to achieve rated embedment and load values. Follow applicable building codes and anchor manufacturer load tables when specifying these fasteners for structural or life-safety connections. Do not overdrive the anchor, as stripping the threads in the base material will reduce holding strength.
