The HID Global 6130C is an iCLASS RK40 keypad reader designed for secure access control. This device utilizes thirteen point fifty-six MHz contactless smart card technology. It supports dual authentication with a combination of a contactless card and a personal identification number (PIN). You can configure the user panel for single-factor authentication by using either the card or the PIN.

The PIN can be validated at the access control panel or directly via the keypad reader. If validated at the reader, the PIN should be programmed into the iCLASS card for security. The device features a sturdy design with a weatherproof keypad and an elegantly curved faceplate, ensuring durability in various environments. The keypad has twelve positions, which use discrete switches for a reliable tactile response, often accompanied by an audible tone for feedback.
