The HERTEL H59868398 is a solid carbide indexable boring bar designed for internal turning and boring operations on CNC lathes and machining centers. Built to the HBBC toolholder style, it accepts CD-series inserts secured by a screw clamping method, providing repeatable insert indexing and rigid tool engagement. The minimum bore diameter is 0.222 inches, the shank diameter is 3/16 inches, and the overall length is 4 inches. Coolant-through capability is included, supporting chip evacuation and tool life in demanding bore finishing applications. This bar is intended for right-hand cutting. Machinists and toolroom technicians working in precision bore sizing will find this geometry well matched to tight-tolerance internal features.
This boring bar suits small-diameter internal boring applications in production and job-shop environments. It is appropriate for use in CNC turning centers and live-tool lathes where a 3/16-inch shank fits the toolholder block. The maximum bore depth reaches 1.875 inches (1-7/8 inches), making it capable of moderate-depth finish boring passes. It is a single-purpose, right-hand toolholder and is not configured for multi-use or left-hand operation.
