The HERTEL H-81105502000 is a combo drill countersink designed to drill and countersink in a single operation, eliminating the need for separate tool changes. Built from cobalt high-speed steel with a bright (uncoated) polished finish, this tool delivers strong resistance to heat and wear when working in tough or abrasive materials. It features a 3/16-inch body diameter, a 5/64-inch drill point diameter, and an 118-degree drill point angle. The overall length is 1-7/8 inches, making it compact and suited for close-tolerance work. This is a plain cutting edge, non-tapered, non-aircraft-style tool with a 60-degree included angle for standard countersinking applications.
This combo drill countersink is sized as a trade size 2 and is used in metalworking, fabrication, and general machining environments where creating a countersunk seat for flat-head fasteners is required. The double end type extends tool life by providing two usable ends. It is well suited for job shop, maintenance, and production drilling in ferrous metals and stainless steel where cobalt tooling is the standard choice. Machinists, toolmakers, and metalworking professionals are the primary users.
Designed as a trade size 2 combo drill countersink for use in standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a 3/16-inch body diameter shank. Suitable for countersinking operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals where cobalt tooling is specified.
Installation and use of this tool should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom professionals familiar with cutting tool setup and speeds and feeds for cobalt drill tooling. Secure the tool firmly in the chuck or collet and verify concentricity before operation. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life. Always follow machine guarding protocols and wear appropriate PPE when operating drilling equipment.
