The HERTEL EF080032 is a square end mill designed for general-purpose milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 0.5 inch cutting diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and a 0.5 inch shank diameter with a 4 inch overall length. Constructed from high speed steel with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) finish, this end mill offers improved surface hardness and wear resistance over uncoated HSS tooling. The two-flute geometry and 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation, making it suitable for slotting and peripheral milling operations. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for use in manual mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers where two-flute HSS tooling is specified. It is commonly used in job shops, maintenance departments, and toolrooms for cutting steel, aluminum, brass, and similar materials. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration is the standard orientation for most vertical milling setups. A single-end design means the cutting end is on one side only.
