The HERTEL E8050028 is a double-end square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Manufactured from M7 high speed steel with a TiN (titanium nitride) finish, it offers improved surface hardness and tool life compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The cutter measures 7/16 inch in diameter with a 13/16 inch length of cut, a 1/2 inch shank diameter, and a 3-3/4 inch overall length. With 2 flutes, a 30-degree helix angle, and a spiral flute design, it is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling where chip clearance and surface finish both matter. This is a centercutting tool, allowing plunge entry into workpieces.

This end mill is used in manual and CNC vertical milling machines, knee mills, and machining centers in tool and die shops, production shops, and maintenance environments.
