The HERTEL E4041024 is a cobalt square end mill designed for metal removal in milling operations on machining centers, knee mills, and manual or CNC equipment. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this single-end tool carries a TiN (titanium nitride) coating that improves surface hardness and wear resistance at the cutting edge. At 0.375 inches in diameter with a 2.5-inch length of cut and a 4-flute geometry, it delivers a balance of chip evacuation efficiency and finish quality suited to ferrous and difficult-to-machine alloys. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled hole.

This end mill is used in job shops, maintenance and repair operations, and production environments where steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials are machined.
