The HERTEL E4039026 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Ground from M42 high speed steel and finished with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers improved surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The 13/32 inch (0.4063 inch) cutting diameter and 1 inch length of cut make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling at moderate depths. The 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary installers and users of this tool.
