The HERTEL E107202401 is a square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication, tool and die work, and general machining applications. Built from M7 high speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this single-end mill features a 3/8-inch diameter cutting edge and a 42-degree helix angle that promotes chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With an extra-long 2-1/2-inch length of cut, it handles deep-pocket milling and slotting work that standard-length end mills cannot reach. Two right-hand spiral flutes and a centercutting geometry allow plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot cutting. It is sized for use in standard 3/8-inch collets and end mill holders.
