The HERTEL E1035200 is a long-series, 6-flute square end mill designed for heavy material removal in milling operations on machining centers and manual mills. The cutter is manufactured from M7 high speed steel in an uncoated finish and features a 30-degree spiral flute geometry with right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation. The 2-inch milling diameter paired with a 4-inch length of cut makes this tool well suited to deep-pocket and side-wall finishing applications where extended reach is required. A 1.25-inch shank diameter provides rigid tool holding in standard milling chucks and collet systems. Weight is 3.33 pounds. This is a single-end, non-centercutting tool.
This end mill is intended for use in production and job-shop environments where large-diameter cuts in steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials are common. The M7 HSS material grade offers good toughness and wear resistance at moderate cutting speeds. The long-series overall length of 6.5 inches allows clearance in deep-cavity work. It is a non-centercutting design, so plunge cutting directly into solid material is not appropriate without pre-drilling or ramping entry. Typical users include machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC operators running conventional milling operations.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify drawbar or collet nut torque meets the tool-holder specification before running. Because this is a non-centercutting end mill, always use a ramping or helical entry path, or pre-drill a starter hole, to avoid tool damage and workpiece hazards.
