The HERTEL E1030016 is a square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from M7 high speed steel, it runs uncoated with a 30-degree spiral flute geometry that promotes chip evacuation and reduces heat buildup during cuts. The 0.25-inch cutting diameter and 2-flute configuration make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and light-to-moderate material removal. The centercutting design allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users. The 0.375-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders found on vertical mills and CNC machining centers.
