The 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 3/8 inch shank and a 1.375 inch length of cut, making it well suited for slotting, pocketing, and peripheral roughing passes. Three coarse-pitch flutes support chip evacuation under heavy feeds. The bright, uncoated finish is suitable for general-purpose use across a range of workpiece materials.
