The HERTEL 83247148 is a solid carbide chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in metalworking and machining applications. With a 10.5 mm (0.4134 inch) reamer diameter and a diameter tolerance of 0.0000 to 0.0003 inches, this tool delivers tight, repeatable sizing in bored or drilled holes. The straight-cylindrical shank mounts directly in standard chuck-style toolholders, and the 6-flute straight geometry provides smooth, efficient material removal. With an overall length of 3-1/2 inches and a 1-1/4 inch flute length, it is suited for moderate-depth reaming operations. The bright, uncoated carbide finish is appropriate for a wide range of workpiece materials. This reamer is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in CNC and manual machine environments.
This chucking reamer is used in machine shop and production environments where accurate hole diameter and surface finish are required.
