The bright finish leaves the carbide substrate exposed for maximum hardness. This bit is suited for drilling small-diameter holes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, PCB materials, hard plastics, and composite substrates where high-speed steel bits lack the hardness or edge retention required. Installation is performed by a machinist or tooling technician.
