The HERTEL 750900 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) cutting diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, this single-end tool handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in tight spaces where larger tooling cannot reach. The 30-degree right-hand helix promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright/uncoated finish suits a wide range of workpiece materials. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC machining centers or manual mills are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for small-diameter work in general machining shops, mold and die operations, and precision component manufacturing. The 2-flute configuration provides adequate chip clearance for slotting operations and works well in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its regular length classification and 1-1/2 inch overall length make it a standard choice for benchtop and full-size vertical machining centers requiring small-bore milling capability.
Designed as a standard small-diameter square end mill fitting any machine tool spindle or holder accepting a 1/8 inch round shank, including ER collet chucks and set-screw end mill holders commonly used on CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tooling setup. Always power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from its holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended insertion depth in the collet or holder to prevent tool pullout during cutting. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, particularly at small diameters where runout has a proportionally greater effect on tool life.
