The HERTEL 750656 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication, toolroom work, and production machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide, the tool delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The TiCN coating reduces friction and extends tool life in demanding cuts. At 9/32 inch (0.2812 inch) diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 30-degree right-hand spiral helix, this end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling where a compact diameter and reliable edge hold are essential. Installation and use are handled by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is built for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where small-diameter tooling is required. The 5/16 inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in job shops and production environments. The centercutting design allows plunge entry as well as conventional milling passes. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for the majority of CNC and manual milling applications. The regular-length geometry keeps deflection low at this diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide end mill compatible with standard 5/16 inch collet chucks and end mill holders used in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth and torque the retention hardware per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and should not be forced into interrupted cuts beyond its rated capacity.
